Document DTP as technical work

I work on document DTP and reconstruction for translation companies, localization projects and direct clients.

What I work with

Core tools include Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, CorelDRAW, as well as AutoCAD, KOMPAS, SolidWorks and MicroStation. Projects range from ordinary multi-page documents to technical documentation, CAD sets, PDFs and scans.

Multilingual DTP

A separate area is documentation involving Arabic, Persian and Hebrew, including mixed RTL/LTR layouts. In such projects, it is not enough to place the translation: the document direction has to be assembled correctly as well.

How I approach the source

I first determine the real structure of the document. Then I choose the appropriate tool: sometimes a careful import is enough; sometimes manual reconstruction is required. The goal is always a predictable, editable and visually consistent result.
